The image of Paris Fashion Week often travels faster than its context. A look, a runway exit, a front row photograph: each can become the whole story by the time it reaches a feed. The official calendar offers a slower first step.

The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode coordinates Paris Fashion Week and publishes the official calendar. Its own description makes an important distinction: the calendar includes both shows and presentations. It also describes four Paris Fashion Week editions each year, across womenswear and menswear.

That record does not tell us what a collection meant to its makers or how it landed with the public. It does identify what belongs to the official program. From there, an archive can widen: lookbooks, collection notes, criticism, imagery, and the voices of people who were there.

This opening file is a reading route, not a claim to original backstage access. The New Standard will add archival material and firsthand accounts when we have them, with credits and dates attached.
